Paris-based Hublo has raised €1 million from Newfund in an unspecified round, as the premium dry-cleaning company looks to expand beyond France into the US, Japan, and India.
Founded in 2020 by Stephane Cohen, Hublo describes itself as the first AI-augmented premium dry-cleaning brand. The company operates four locations in Paris and says it processes more than 300,000 high-end garments each year.
Its proprietary AI is used to analyze garments at drop-off, including fabric identification, risk detection, treatment recommendations, and care process tracking through photo history integrated into point-of-sale systems. The investment highlights growing interest in applying vertical AI tools to traditional service industries with large operational workflows.
Newfund’s backing comes as Hublo positions itself at the intersection of textile care, retail infrastructure, and automation, with international expansion now on its roadmap.
