Banyan Software has acquired HMM Germany, a Moers-based B2B eHealth platform company, in a deal aimed at supporting the company’s next phase of growth. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2006, HMM operates X3.Net, a platform used by health insurers, medical-device providers, and healthcare service providers across Germany to handle cost estimates, approvals, billing, and reimbursements for medical aids in real time. The company also offers its technology as software and as a managed service.

According to the companies, HMM’s founders and management team were seeking a long-term partner that could provide capital and operational expertise while preserving existing customer relationships. The new ownership is expected to support further investment in the platform, product enhancements, broader AI adoption, and continued expansion.
