Enera, an AI driver experience platform for electric vehicle charging, has closed a $2 million funding round led by Lakehouse Ventures, with participation from Divergent Capital, Masia, and angel investors including eight founders from across the startup ecosystem.

Founded in 2025 and headquartered in London and Barcelona, Enera develops white-labelled AI agents that help resolve failed charging sessions in real time, alongside a Control Room product that gives charge point operators visibility into network issues and driver support data.

The company said the new funding will be used to accelerate pilots already underway with leading UK charge point operators and to support its expansion into Europe.

The raise comes as EV adoption continues to grow across Europe, while charging reliability and customer support remain persistent challenges for operators and drivers alike.
