French defence software startup Comand AI has raised €32 million in Series A funding, in a round led by Blossom Capital with participation from Swedish defence prime Saab.
Based in Paris and founded in 2023, Comand AI develops AI-powered command software for modern defence. Its flagship product, Prevail, is designed to analyze mission and terrain data, predict threats, and provide real-time courses of action while feeding operational lessons back into planning and doctrine.
The raise marks a significant follow-on round for the company, which had previously secured €8.5 million in December 2024. The deal underscores continued investor interest in European defence technology, particularly startups building software intended to support battlefield decision-making and interoperability with existing military systems.
