Puglia based deeptech startup CareGlance has secured 3.5 million EUR in a seed funding round. The investment was led by CDP Venture Capital through the Rilancio Fund. Additional participation came from Eureka Venture via the Eureka Fund and its parallel fund dedicated to Puglia along with LIFTT and a group of business angels. LIFTT previously provided capital to the company. CareGlance develops ultra high precision 3D infrared sensors utilizing optical coherence tomography technology. The company plans to use the new funds to accelerate the commercialization of its proprietary technology and expand product development. The capital will also support the growth of its operational headquarters in Puglia and the strengthening of the firm's national presence. Furthermore the funding is earmarked for software development and the consolidation of internal engineering expertise.
