Auxilius, an AI-native startup based in Unterföhring near Munich, has raised around €1.3 million in a pre-seed funding round led by High-Tech Gründerfonds. Techstars and several industry-experienced business angels also participated.

Founded by Christian Hoppe and James Barnes, the company builds software for automating governance, risk and compliance processes in large enterprises. Its platform translates company policies and control requirements into deterministic, executable code, allowing controls to run continuously and adjust as rules change.

The new funding will be used to expand Auxilius' engineering and domain teams and to further develop its Control-Intelligence-Knowledge-Graph, which underpins the company’s approach to linking risks, controls and decisions across enterprise environments.
